The Art of Knitting - Block Two - Stocking Stitch

Hurrah - my favourite type of stitch, so I know this will be fairly straightforward - but wait a minute - what is the trim detail around the edges?? This means I need to pay more attention to the number of stitches I am knitting or pearling and change the first and last 3 stitches!!

Luckily it wasn't too taxing for my primitive brain and I made a fairly good job. As suspected the tension is much easier to manage due to the pearl rows softening the knitted ones. So far so good and I am quite chuffed that the first two blocks are completed - only a few more to go!!
